Is meshloader XR supported on other operating systems besides Windows?
No - meshloader XR is only compatible with the operating system Windows operating system and requires a powerful PC or laptop (VR-ready).
Which VR glasses does meshloader XR work with?
meshloader XR is compatible with a variety of popular VR headsets, including

- Valve Index
- Pico

What are the PC/laptop hardware requirements?
We recommend a powerful gaming PC or laptop that can VRready is. Special attention should be paid to the graphics card should be given special attention.
For a new purchase, we recommend models from the NVIDIA RTX 3000 series.
Is "Support" included in the annual license?
Support services are not included in the annual license.
However, if you need support in selecting or purchasing hardware suitable for virtual reality, we will be happy to help you.
Experience has shown that this takes 1-2 hours are required.
The hourly support rate is 150 €/hour (plus VAT).
How will meshloader XR be further developed?
The further development of meshloader XR is based directly on feedback from our customers. New ideas for better handling and useful functions are continuously incorporated into our development.
My export data format is not working - what can I do?
If the export data format of your 3D or CAD software does not work, please contact us. Our support team will take care of your request immediately. The cause often lies in the individual settings of the export function within the CAD software, which must be adjusted accordingly.
Can I use several computers with one software license?
Yes! - You can use meshloader XR on multiple devices.
It is only important that you log out firstbefore you log in again on another device log in again.
Who develops meshloader XR?
meshloader XR is a product of NEED immersive reality (NIR) - a virtual reality studio based in Austria. Since 2016, NIR has been developing high-end VR applications for a wide range of industries.
The entire know-how from over ten years of individual projects and technical developments has been integrated into meshloader XR has been incorporated.
Are monthly licenses also available?
No! We currently only offer annual licenses. These either expire automatically or you can request an automatic renewal in the customer area.
What features/functions are available in meshloader XR
meshloader XR offers a wide range of functions for the effective presentation and analysis of 3D models in virtual reality:
- Measuring - precise distance measurements directly in the model
- Scaling - flexible size adjustment
- Rotate - in 90° and 5° steps
- Teleportation - intuitive movement in space
- Collision detection - physically correct movements in space
- Model selection - targeted selection of models
- Cutting - a targeted look inside the model
- Align Model - models can be linked with each other, e.g. for variant comparisons
- Set fixed points - for orientation or communication within the team
- Sun position simulation - for analyzing lighting conditions
- Save scenes - incl. set points and settings
- 360° images & renderings - for further use outside VR
- 1:1 mode - realistic scale representation
- Audio integration - e.g. for comments, explanations or sound effects
